Who Are We
Founded by Philip Cabbad in 1976, R&A Cycles has quickly turned the years as the flagship pro bike shop for professionals and enthusiasts all over the world. In the early 80's R&A Cycles quickly gained a reputation of being the shop to have hard to get imported frames and parts. With that reputation and the inventory to back it up we proceeded by creating a mail order business which was the stepping stones for today's mail order companies. In the early 90's, when the internet was a vague idea, R&A Cycles pioneered the way and created the first online cycling mail order website which has become the industry standard with the most in depth and product rich website.

Unlike other online retailers, we believe in only advertising products we physically have in our store. Your purchase usually ships the same day it is placed so that you are ready for your big race or for your Sunday ride. Purchasing by Credit Card - All telephone or e-commerce generated purchases must be made using a credit card. For safety and ease we ask all those placing orders via credit card to do so through our safe online website.
Purchasing by Check - We accept checks by mail for purchases but reserve the right to hold purchased goods until receiving cleared funds. Products are sent promptly once full payments are received.
Purchasing via Bank Transfer - We also accept bank transfers as an alternative payment method. Please contact us for details.

Returns on Factory Configured Bikes - Merchandise must be unused and packed in original format. Prior approval necessary within 5 days after receipt of goods to receive a refund - please call the shop - a 10% restocking charge is applied to all returns.
Returns on Custom Configured Bikes - Custom bikes are not returnable except under exceptional circumstances in which a 20% restocking fee is charged. Please call to talk to an associate. Returns on Parts and Accessories - We accept returns on unused parts and accessories within 20 days of purchase. Prior to 10 days a full refund will be given. After 10 days customer will have a choice of store credit or a gift card.
Layaways are only allowed on purchases of complete bicycles or frames. We generally do not accept layaways on other products. The purchaser must deposit a minimum of 20% of the total purchase price. The 20% is non-refundable after two months of any purchase. Unless notified R&A will cancel any Layaways not attended to in six months.
Special Orders require non-refundable deposits in the amount of at least 50% for a bike or frame, and 25% for other equipment or apparel. Since we stock almost everything special orders really only consist of custom frames designs or paint schemes.
If a product is not available and a consumer would like to order one for immediate delivery upon arrival, he / she may select from our standard (above) purchasing options to order the product. The purchaser will be billed 10% of the purchasing price and will be put on a list for the item in order of receipt. When item arrives the purchaser will be contacted for confirmation and final payment.

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to handle the ins and outs of all our customer services issues. Candidate must be extremely personable and patient to help with clients who have problems, exchanges, or warranty issues.
