Scott Addict eRIDE

Scott Addict eRIDE

It looks like a standard road bike, but it's very much not. Hidden within those carbon tubes is a light but powerful Mahle electrification system that can deliver a seamless power boost to help you go farther, faster, and make the most of each ride. How so? Read on:

Power without Overpowering

You want a boost, but you don't want to give up your workout. Scott understands this, which is why the Addict eRide's assist system doesn't provide propulsion on its own – it augments your power, up to 25kph/15mph, at which point it fades out and the bike operates as normal. You can choose between three different intensities of boost, too, easily toggled with the push of a button. The result is a faster, farther, more thrilling ride, that's as only challenging as you want it to be.

Electric Integration

Addict eRide's Crestin iC cockpits feature entirely integrated cabling for a smooth, comfortable, and aerodynamic front end. Brake and drivetrain lines invisibly pass through the bar and into the headtube. On the Addict eRide Premium model, it is a one-piece, full-carbon setup, while on the 10 and 20 models, the cockpit features a carbon bar clamped by an alloy aero stem.

Go Far, and Go High

When equipped with the Addict eRide's range-extending battery (which conveniently mounts into a bottle cage), the bike can provide assistance for up to 125km/75mi of riding, or an average of around 2200m/7200ft of climbing! And an available smartphone app can help you keep track of your bike's power level while you're out there, as well as your heart rate, calorie burn, and other fitness metrics.

Not Just E-Bike Light. Simply Light.

Coming in at a mere 10.75kg/23.7lbs (without the range-extending bottle-mounted battery, sold separately), the Addict eRide isn't just light for an e-bike – it's light, period. Climbing, handling, and accelerating beyond the motor's boost, the Addict eRide will feel agile and responsive, which is exactly what you expect from an Addict.

E-Specific Geometry

To help more riders get more out of the Addict eRide, Scott made some subtle changes to the standard Addict road bike geometry, aimed at improving comfort and long-distance ridability. The Addict eRide's head tube and stack height are a bit taller, the top tube a bit shorter, so that the rider sits with less strain on the back, shoulders, and wrists.
