Pinarello Dogma GR

No Road Off Limits

Where Dogma Meets Gravel

Pinarello built their name on race bikes - Tour de France, world championships, the fastest riders in the peloton. The Dogma GR takes that same obsession with speed and applies it to gravel. This is not a road bike adapted for dirt. It is Pinarello's answer to what a true fast gravel bike should be - engineered from the ground up to race UCI gravel events and handle every surface in between. The Grevil F was a fast road bike that could handle gravel. The Dogma GR is a different animal entirely.

TorayCa M40X Carbon Fiber

The Dogma GR is built from TorayCa M40X, the same high-modulus carbon fiber developed for the new Dogma F road bike. At 377 GPa tensile modulus, it sits far above T700 (230 GPa), T900 (290 GPa), and even the T1100G1K aerospace-grade carbon at 324 GPa. In practical terms, the frame is lighter, stiffer, and more responsive than anything built on conventional carbon. You feel it the moment you put power down.

Designed to Win UCI Gravel Races

Pinarello's mission was precise: build the lightest aero gravel bike capable of winning at the highest level of UCI gravel competition. The Dogma GR is that bike.

Race Geometry. Gravel Ready.

The Dogma GR borrows its geometry philosophy from the Crossista - a frame proven in the most demanding off-road racing formats. The seat tube and head tube angles are dialed for an aerodynamic position in the saddle while keeping the front end stable when the surface gets loose or technical. This is not gravel geometry softened from a road platform. It is race geometry built specifically for high-speed gravel competition.

Pinarello's signature aero headtube nose shape - introduced on the Dogma F8 in 2014 - continues to evolve on the Dogma GR. The latest iteration reduces volume and width at the leading edge, cutting frontal aerodynamic drag where it is most impactful.

Slimming the headtube required a complete redesign of the steering tube. Pinarello developed an elliptical shape incorporating a new headset with differentiated bearings - wider on the bottom for stability, narrower at the top for a cleaner aero profile. Lighter than before, with improved internal cable routing throughout.

The front thru axle thread routes internally through the fork leg, eliminating the external protrusion that creates drag. The result is a cleaner fork profile, better aerodynamics, and a design that is as functional as it looks.

All cables and housing route fully internally through the frame via Pinarello's TiCR system. The cockpit stays clean, the exterior surface stays smooth, and the integrated down tube port makes installation and service straightforward - no specialty tools required.

The Dogma GR accepts up to 45mm front and 42mm rear - wide enough for aggressive gravel race tires across varying conditions. It ships with Vittoria Terreno 40mm tires, a proven choice for mixed-surface racing that balances rolling speed on hard-pack with traction in loose gravel.

Pinarello Dogma GR adaptive seatpost

Adaptive Seatpost

Pinarello engineered a new seatpost specifically for the Dogma GR with 8mm of longitudinal flex built into the design. That flex absorbs trail vibration and road chatter before it reaches the rider - keeping your position stable and your power delivery consistent over rough terrain. This is not a dropper post or an active suspension system. It is a smart piece of carbon engineering that works with the terrain instead of against it, with no maintenance required.

Talon Ultra Fast GR Cockpit

The Dogma GR does not run a standard drop bar. Pinarello developed the Talon Ultra Fast GR specifically for this bike after extensive testing on the development frames. The bar features 7-degree flare and 7-degree inward bend - a geometry that opens up hand positions in the drops while maintaining a tight aero profile on the hoods. Two rivets on the top of the bar provide attachment points for the optional TT Gravel Bars, adding a time-trial position for long flat race sections. Stem lengths run from 80mm to 110mm paired with 420mm to 460mm bar widths.
