Sidi Shot Cycling Shoes
The Sidi Shot cycling shoes are the kicks Chris Froome debuted to great success at the Tour de France in 2016. He’s only one of a legion of pro’s that rely on Sidi every year. They’re light, stiff, well-vented, and have a great dial-adjust system that has been moved on top of the foot.

The new position of the dials does two things. It results in a more even pull on the microfiber upper to hold down your foot. It also keeps the dials out of the way of the wind, and protects them from damage in a crash. The dials themselves are called Double Tecno 3 Push System. There’s even a button, the Push, to help left the buckle, thus making adjustment easier. The upper dial handles the top of the foot in one straight-across wrap. The lower dial pulls on two sets of bases to secure the middle and fore foot.

In addition to the double dials, the heel cup is made of two parts. The lower part is the classic Sidi reinforced heel cup. On top of it is the Tallone Tecnico Regolabile Reflex, aka Adjustable Heel Retention Device. This is essentially an adjustable clamp, where you can dial the inside and outside position separately. If you’ve got narrow heels, dial them in, if you’ve got wide heels, dial them out. The point is to keep your heel locked down.

The sole is another point of pride for Sidi. It’s the Vent Carbon 16. The Vent of the name comes from a closable vent just behind the toe pad. You can open it up for both foot cooling on hot days, and foot draining, if you’re a triathlete. the vent leads to the inside of the shoe, and then has an exhaust vent behind the cleat section. both the toe pad and vent and heel pad are replicable. The carbon is covered with an anti-skid coating by the cleat holes, and there are markings for dialing in cleat position, as well as a fourth hole for Look’s cleat minder tab.

The insole is Sidi’s Comfort insole. It is a bit thicker than their standard insole, with memory foam in the ball area, so that your feet can customize the insole, and experience some pressure relief.

The Sidi Shot Cycling Shoes bring Italian flair and inimitable comfort to pro-level race kicks.

SPECIFICATIONS

Weight: 580g (pair, size 42)

Cleat Compatibility: 3-bolt

Upper: Microfiber Techpro

Sole: Vent carbon
