Returns and Exchanges

If for some reason you are not happy with your purchase, you have 30 days to either:

  1. Return the item and get a refund
  2. Exchange for something else

All items (including bikes) must be unused and in original saleable condition with all packaging and labels.


​Before shipping to you, our mechanics assemble and pack your bike as part of the purchase price. This includes parts requiring mechanical expertise such as shifters, derailleurs and bottom bracket. Some parts such as front wheel, saddle and bars will arrive unistalled in order to fit the bike into its box. These are commonly adjusted parts that can typically be installed with an allen / hex key.

Factory spec bikes: A restocking fee of 10% of your purchase price will apply. This includes labor and packaging costs.
Custom spec bikes: A restocking fee of 10% of your purchase price will apply. An additional fee will apply to cover the cost of disposed items such as hydraulic fluid, cables, and bar tape which cannot be restocked after the return. The cost of this fee will change depending on what parts are consumed during a custom build.

Processing time:

  1. It takes 5 - 10 business days for us to receive your package, inspect your return, process the inventory, and complete your refund.
  2. Once the refund is processed by R&A Cycles, the time taken for the amount to show in your bank account is dependant on your financial institution.
Any items returned damaged are subject to a fee based on the cost of repairing the item. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the item is adequately packed to avoid damage in return shipping. If you are unsure about how the item should be packed, please contact us for assistance.

Exchanging an item:

We recommend pacing a new order immediately with the items you would like to exchange to. This ensures you will get your intended product without it going out of stock while your return is processed. You will receive a full refund for the original purchase when it is processed by our returns department.

Warranty Information:

If you believe you have received a faulty product, please email us at within 7 days of receiving the item. R&A Cycles, serving as the middleman, reserves the right to determine whether a product is faulty based on a thorough quality inspection process.

  • Quality Inspection Process:

    Our team will carefully assess the reported issue to determine if it falls under warranty coverage. Please note that a detailed quality inspection will be conducted before a decision is made.

  • Return and Replacement Process:

    If the product is deemed faulty, customers may be required to return the item. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will either ship a replacement (subject to stock availability) or issue a refund/credit.

  • Shipping Costs and Labor Charges:

    RA Cycles is not responsible for any shipping or labor charges not covered by the manufacturer in a warranty claim. Customers may be responsible for shipping costs associated with returning the item. Contact our team for further assistance and instructions.

  • Stock Availability:

    Replacement items are subject to stock availability. In the event that a replacement is not immediately available, we will work with you to find a satisfactory solution.

  • Warranty Processing Fee:

    RA Cycles has the right to charge a warranty processing fee for warranties of products not purchased at RA Cycles. The fee, if applicable, will be communicated to the customer before processing.

  • Refund/Credit Criteria:

    Refunds or credits will be issued based on the outlined criteria. Refunds may be processed in the original payment method, or store credit may be provided.

  • Received incorrect item

  • Return shipping

    Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping should they select the wrong item or change their mind. R&A Cycles is responsible for the cost of return shipping if the item is faulty or if the wrong item has been sent.

  • Wrong sized items

    We will exchange any product that doesn''t fit or the wrong size or color was selected. Return shipping is on the customer.

    Making the exchange is no cost to the customer, the only out of pocket cost is the return shipment to us. In certain cases the customer is also liable for the return exchange.

    No restock fee is applied if the item comes back for a credit.

    We will pay the return shipment if an item was sent wrong. A call tag will be issued at no cost to the customer.
