Starting with the world-class Dogma F8, the K8-S adds 10mm to the head tube and 10mm of rear suspension. Engineers then beat their weight target by an impressive 10 grams. The final result is the K8-S, a sibling to the F8 that rides smoother, is easier on your back and neck, and is astonishingly lightweight for how comfortable it is. As the pros who have ridden it can attest, it's a true game-changer.
While the front triangle of the K8-S is virtually identical in structure to the F8, the headtube has been heightened by 10mm. This creates a more comfortable riding position for longer rides over rougher roads - or, simply, a more comfortable ride.
Co-developed with Jaguar Land Rover, the Dogma K8-S’s integrated rear shock combines with flat FlexStay chainstays to allow 10mm of vertical rear wheel movement, absorbing road chatter and creating an uncommonly smooth ride.
Pinarello's engineers knew it would be difficult to create a truly lightweight frame with integrated rear suspension, yet they still set a lofty weight goal of 1000 grams or less. They beat this goal by 10 grams, creating a rear-suspended road frame at an incredible 990 grams.
Aero-tuned in the same wind tunnel and made of the same carbon as the aggressive F8 -- T1100K1 Dream Carbon with Nanoalloy Technology -- the K8-S is ready to climb, sprint, and spin for miles on nearly any type of road. We’d call that a Perfect 10 of a bike.
Already dominating pro tour stages, the Dogma K8-S has been ridden in prototype form for several seasons. It’s become a favorite of pros when it comes time to tackle races over the cobbles or other longer, rougher stages.
This is Pinarello’s World Tour-level endurance, fondo, cobble cruiser frameset.
When you want a fast racing bike with a rear end that can save your back and take the sting off of rough roads, the Pinarello K8-S does the job.
