The Fenix 5 features Garmin's new Elevate wrist-based heart rate monitor, integrated into the watch's body, eliminating the need for a separate chest strap.

Dual-method position tracking

The Fenix 5 utilizes not one, but two networks for global position: traditional GPS, and GLONASS, which can provider greater accuracy in areas where GPS signals are weak.

Excellent Readability
